Why "Social Media" is great....

Exactly my thoughts. 2 out of 6 seems suspect given the 80% success rate historically. I know it's just statistical but I'll take the over on that.
The 81% refers to #1 seeds who win it all (21 of 26).

He was referring to finalists who win it all (2 or more of 6). For that you want to use 67%, as 38 of 57 finalists have won the final in the Sanderson era. So, if there are 6 finalists you would expect 4 champs.

I think this our most balanced team under Cael. Possibly our best dual squad. But I don’t expect them to score as many points at nationals as last year. I hope im proven wrong.

One of the ranking groups only does the top 20 so that's what we have to use
I do not use WIN for that reason. Perhaps you can still rank to 33 if you take the the 21 thru 33 totals from the other six services and multiple them by 1.1667 (7 divided by 6). The one caveat to this approach is that it may result in a wrestler ranked 20th, or higher, that otherwise would have been ranked in the 21-33 range. But given that approximately 11% of the scoring comes from the 21-33 seeds annually, I think it could make your tournament estimates a bit better.

Why would they be mutually exclusive? History has proven that PSU is a better tournament team because that is how Cael trains them.

Scored last year:
125 - 2
133 - 3
141 - 20 with 4 bonus
149 - 19 with 6 bonus
157 - 26 with 6 bomus
165 - 19.5 with 3.5 bonus
174 - 20 with 0 bonus
184 - 12.5 with 2.5 bonus
197 - 27 with 7 bonus
285 - 23.5 with 3.5 bonus

This year conservative forecast
125 - 9 points 6th, no bonus
133 - 9 points 6th, no bonus
141 - 13.5 points 3rd, no bonus
NET: + 6.5
—————————————
149 - 23 points 1st, 3 bonus
157 - 15.5 points 3rd 2 bonus
165 - 26 points, 1st 6 bonus
NET: PUSH
————————————-
174 - 21 points 2nd, 5 bonus
184 - 24 points 1st, 4 bonus
197 - 14.5 points 4th, 2 bonus
NET: PUSH
————————————-
285 - 20 points 2nd, 4 bonus
NET: -3.5

NET TOTAL: + 3

I would call this conservative. LL (+ whatever) and Levi (+4) could easily go higher. Maybe some downside for SVN (-4 to Henson if we are feeling generous).

Okay. Your argument is compelling.

I am an administrator there
I just submitted my third request, at least this one was not declined immediately

They ask David Taylor’s nickname, the name of the radio announcer and an incoming recruit. Pretty easy. Hopefully I make it this time.

Edit- third time is the charm. I am part of the cool kids now!

It is my understanding that the questions/refusals for admission are structured so that the site is not inundated with penn state haters

I go on this diatribe yearly, but why exactly do we support Athlete PS (Nike Wrestling, apparently) as a sport, but then cry when institutions cut D1 programs?

We'll shout to the mountains and print slogans on shirts... Nike blanks, likely... When Knight literally killed a D1 program at Oregon to start baseball because his &#$*ing wife preferred it.

It's like going back to the heroin dealer that killed your family member because they repackaged some new strain.

Tell me like I'm 5. I don't get it. All for a swoosh?

Rudis is a Nike brand? Ew.

It’s still kind of ironic to me that for all of the resources Nike has, they still struggle to come up with new colorways and shoes overall while Rudis is and has been lapping the field repeatedly for years. ASICS seems to be falling behind after being the behemoth of the industry for years and Adidas appears to be somewhat competitive, but the top athletes seem to be signing with Rudis.
