I've talked about plenty of $13/hr+ jobs and that are available for unskilled people. I've pointed out that a couple earning $13/hr+ earns $57k.
So who isn't surviving? Why aren't they surviving? The only answer I got was that people can't find roomates to help share expenses.
I was listening to a show on the radio over the weekend. The subject was income inequality. Something that I heard really stood out. A claim was made that 14% of Americans are functionally illiterate and that 2/3 of inmates in American prisons can't read at a 3rd grade level. Perhaps these are the people who can't get a $13/hr+ job and find another such person to share expenses.
What do you think libs? I'm trying hard to lead you closer to an answer.
