Looks like a winter ASS. BEATING. o_O is coming to the northeast on Wednesday. Here in NEW. JERSEY. o_O , they are calling for 1-3” of snow during the day on Wednesday and then 8-12” that night into Thursday.

If you live in the affected area, make sure you buy HOARD. o_O toilet paper.

the one positive about working from home now with the office being closed is i don't have to wake up 30 minutes early to go shovel the driveway to get out or worry about it snowing while at the office and having my commute home be a nightmare. so snowing isn't as big of a deal in that sense.

Also a positive about living and working in south florida on the beach ... 😉

I flew out to California on Friday for work. Originally planned to fly home Thursday. Got email on the way out that would have made it possible to fly home Wednesday. Looked at forecast. Did not change plans.

The real hoarders already have 100 rolls of toilet paper stashed away due to Covid.

Don’t forget the milk and bread.

if you have to hoard tp for a 2 day snow storm, you're probably full of sh%#;)

NWS calling for a possibility for 2 to 3 in my area. Feet that is.

reality is that for the past 10 years, the snow plowing is so good that even when 12+" falls, you can always get out by 24 hours later in most locations. so really there is no reason to hoard anything unless talking 20-24" type situation where things might be shut down for a couple of days.

When I lived in Richmond Va e erutimr they predicted snow, even flurries, the stores sold out of the following:
Bread
Milk
TP
Beer
Contraceptives.

I remember 20 years ago when i first got married and we had our first child. There was a snowstorm coming so went to the store to get some baby formula and diapers just in case. I had no idea about the craziness of people as being single who cared if it snowed. I got to the store and the lines were 30 minutes long and saw people with completely full carts of food. three and four gallons of milk, multiple loaves of bread, etc.....

I just wanted to go ask them why were they doing this as either they had a family of 5 or 6 kids and really needed a lot of food or they were crazy.

The Brady family (and I don't mean Tom and Gisele) couldn't possibly go through that much toilet paper in a lifetime! That looks like it's being stored in a garage, would you want to go out for a roll with your pants down around your ankles when it's below zero?

A few years back we had a snow day down here in NC. By the afternoon it had warmed up, the snow had melted and I was outside playing in the yard with my son in a t-shirt and jeans. I texted a picture to a buddy of mine who is a teacher in Philipsburg (PA) to show him what a snow day looks like down here. He responded that they had gotten 6+ inches the night before and they had school as scheduled!

6+ inches of snow is considered a dusting up in Philipsburg.

New Jersey Bob? This explains a lot! Just curious.......do you live there voluntarily......or is it required?
