Cheering for Seth Gross over here. Haven't changed my view of Gilman even though he's with the good guys.

yes, nothing additional. that’s the rokfin way.

I know that is how it is supposed to work, but I just logged into Rokfin and don't see this event anywhere. Anyone know how to access it? Thanks in advance.

It will show up on Wisconsin RTC page on Rokfin prior to the event at 730pm ET

Hey, what's up, nova! I went to the WiscyRTC channel, at https://www.rokfin.com/WiscRTC, but I also don't see anything yet. But I suspect this is where they will post tonight's live stream.

That's also the link their twitter is using:

Thanks jto and west2east, hope your are right as I really want to see this match.

Jto, hope all is well in NoVa as I am now retired and living in State College and really wanting this pandemic to end so I can attend wrestling, volleyball, football, etc. which was the whole point in retiring and moving.

Texas appeals to Supreme court on Gilman's behalf.......:)

Wisconsin RTC started a "Tip the Channel" asking for tips.....100% of which goes to the Outstanding Male and Female Wrestlers. Cool Idea.....currently at 656.00. Won't make you rich but definitely an incentive for wrestlers to want to participate. I imagine that the NLWC would raise far more than that at the cards they have put up.

Gilman lived on his legs, but couldn’t figure out Gross’s leg whizzer. Losses 4-4 on criterea (all of gilman’s pts were ones).

Gross wins 4-4 on criteria, a go-behind and a (questionable) defensive exposure vs four step-outs. Gilman repeatedly in on Gross's legs but Gross rubber-knees out of everything. Pretty questionable officiating in my opinion, ref stopped the action early a bunch of times and denied two step-out points by Gilman that were right on the edge.

On a recent FRL CP and Funky talked about the absurdity of the "grounded" rule in freestyle. This match showed that absurdity.

Yeah I dunno, if it's a caution and 1 to let yourself go out too easily, it should be a caution and 1 to jump down to one knee as you're going out of bounds too, right? Just makes sense to me.

Right. The rule makes sense where the defensive wrestler has no foot leverage to stop from being bulldozed--no one wants to see those sequences become points. But where the defensive wrestler is going out and drops down near the edge, the purpose of the rule isn't implicated because he's forfeiting his leverage for the sole purpose of saving a point.

You almost never see a grounded call from the single leg position they were in. It’s almost always reserved for straight pushes or sprawl situations

Gilman wins that match 6-4 or 6-2 most other nights. Some perplexing calls, or non-calls, there. In a UWW match, Gross would have been cautioned out.

Should have been on the shot clock multiple times, too. Head fakes and level changes are not offense.

Also, different match at 57kg vs 132lbs
