do you think it could happen again?? Last time Big Red went to the Superbowl one of their TE's (Long snapper?) got hurt. They brought back a guy who had retired the year before, who was teaching school, (IIRC) and he played in the game!!

The flip side of this is maybe because he retired they were able to get this far into the playoffs due to space and money.
I recall also the 49ers bringing back Charles Haley in 1999. He played in a NFC championship game and was completely run over on one of the biggest plays of the game.

I can't recall Tamba ever being a liability. They in the alternative to your position is their defense might have been even better since he could rotate to multiple positions.
