seems to be a lot of fun. Regionals, Super Regionals, CWS…. Looks like a great time after watching these games for years. Trip to Omaha would be fun. Hell, if Illinois and UMd can make it this far I guess there's a chance one day.

PSU is 2-3 pitchers short of being a good team right now. The Lehman kid was our #2 and was only a freshman. Should be a quality starter from here on out. He's 6'6" or so and so is the Pottsville kid coming in, hopefully they turn out to be a couple of big hard throwing strikeout guys that we need. Pitching staff was the weak point in my opinion. Solid D, sticks were ok, strike out a little too much and could use another guy or two with some pop, but they were pretty good running the bases. Pitchers need to cut down the BB's and get guys with better stuff to get some K's to get out of jams easier. Young staff, they should have at least a 7-8 game improvement next year.
I have season tickets for Vanderbilt baseball & love it. The regionals & super regionals are great fun. When I lived in Mississippi I used to go to Ole Miss baseball games & those games with their fans are just crazy. They pack the the stadium for every game.
Baseball teams approach football in the hard to build department. You basically need 4 or 5 great QB's (pitchers), just to start. Basketball is easier, with a good coach. Yes it would be nice as I really enjoy watching college sports more than the pro's.
The sports networks seem to have really picked up on college baseball and softball, so it would be fun if Penn State got good at each. The dry spell from the end of the NCAA MBB tournament to the start of college and pro football camps just about kills me. Obviously, I'm not a big NBA or NHL fan, and I have trouble watching nine innings of even my Cubs, but I would sure watch a full game of Penn State baseball or softball if we were chasing a College World Series berth.
