So where can one find the FAR more important game on DISH?

Maybe the game will be shown on BTN or ESPN in the PGH area? I'm in Texas, so I have no idea.

I have COMCAST in Pittsburgh and it will be broadcast on Channel 204, a WTAE affiliate station called THIS.

Contractual obligation. ABC stations in B1G country that also had the B1G's ESPN+ games would do this all the time in the pre-BTN days.

#1 Nebraska played #2 Oklahoma in 2001 and I can recall my ABC station airing Northwestern and Wisconsin with the immortal Wayne Larrivee on the call.

I looked at both and nada. I've found two local Ohio State alumni clubs that have game broadcasts. I wonder if they know. Go in there wearing a Penn State jersey, hehehe.

I recall something similiar happening to me when Texas played Oklahoma and both were highly ranked and I got some Big Least game.

It is not a contractual obligation. Just this past week Wisconsin at Purdue was shown on WTAE, not the ACC game. It is their choice and they are choosing Pitt.

On a thankful note, the PSU game is on ESPN and not ABC. With the illogical ACC games starting at 12:30 instead of noon, the 3:30 games are almost always joined in progress.

Weird choice of a game to broadcast for WTAE. Since local Pitt fans aren't interested enough to actually go to the game, maybe WTAE thinks they'll at least watch it on television.
