Yeah - I was there for that. Got primo seats from an Iowa donor. Sitting with the “hoy” …. guy in a tie and his wife all dolled. She says so sweet that they’ve been to the PSU stadium and makes all just like to me and my traveling bud. Then the game starts. She joins the crowd with a lusty boo when our star D lineman got hurt ….. again when Clifford got leveled. I turned to the lady and said: “ lady; I’m from Philly and we accept booing as an art form (pause) and you’d fit right in.” I have 2 very close friends who are Iowa Pharmacy school grads. I always rooted for the Hawks, but, after that game I turned over a more productive leaf. Now when we win another Natty, …. I’m always happy to ask my friends how much they enjoy their participation trophy.
