He was our biggest loss in all of this.
For some reason his name has always made me think of tamponsRichie Kotite is the man for the job!!!!
I'm thinking it would be Herman as the #1 guy. Ash probably is kicking himself for leaving.

Is that like if you can't beat 'em join 'em?JIM HARBAUGH, of course.

Herman bolts UT and the oppressive Texas heat and boosters.Dude from Texas.
Herman is all Hat, no Cattle. I’d love if OSU did thatHerman bolts UT and the oppressive Texas heat and boosters.
I suspect tOSU would make a hard push for James Franklin. Sadly, I’d be worried if that happened. It certainly would make things incredibly strained within the B1G.

Last one I can think of is Gary Moeller. But after he left Illinois he was an assistant at Michigan for a few years before he became HC.I don't see it. He can build something really strong and consistent here.
When was the last time a Big Ten Football coach switched to another Big Ten school?

Sure was, in the late '70's. Highly unsuccessful there.Moeller was HC at Illinois?
I didn’t say Franklin would take the job. Just them sniffing around would cause major tension in the B1G. As one poster said below, there seems to be an unwritten rule in conference that schools don’t try to poach head coaches.I don't see it. He can build something really strong and consistent here.

Richie Kotite is like bad LSD - the bad trips happen for decades

0% chance. Herman was on the staff in 2015 when this whole episode with the coaches/wifes happened. Everybody from that time will be gone/never welcomed back.Herman bolts UT and the oppressive Texas heat and boosters.
That’s a very valid point. If OSU is following PSU’s script, every former coach is toxic.0% chance. Herman was on the staff in 2015 when this whole episode with the coaches/wifes happened. Everybody from that time will be gone/never welcomed back.
