Zagreb Open

hard to not love huge richards
You tee'd it up, so TWSS, or "just ask Uncle Carmine," etc.

Richards (not Penn State!!!) w/ the bigger gas tank, but the Turk seems to have had too much of a lead. 10-7 w/ 20 sec left, challenge pending.

Dean drops his next repechage bout vs the Azeri. Some good experience for him--I think I heard Koll say once that Max didn't have a lot of freestyle practice. That has obviously changed of late.
McKenna wins his repechage bout against a guy from France, 3-3 on criteria.

Dean was down 0-4 but was coming back. His opponent was gassed even after multiple blood times but picked up a big 4 point move at the end of the bout to win 8-3.

Kozak, Kodak, or Kojak?

I’m with Goggles on the Zain/Zaine/Zane/Zayn/Zayne thing.

1st, I’m getting too old to remember how people spell their names. 2nd, I’m not confident my board mates are spelling it correctly given the propensity to misspellings here. 3rd, there is only one guy I really care about in the wrestling world by that phonetic name regardless how it is spelled. ☺️

I watched all of Jason's matches. He looked sharp. His gut wrench is really taking hold and is another great tool to add to his arsenal.
Par Terre offense is such a huge game changer, and an area where the USA seems to be gaining ground--though still somewhat behind.

Speaking of not looking good at 86, Zahid was one and done today. Is the cut too much for him?
