It’s unfortunate that we don’t have a title contender at the weight, but we do have a good guy with some talent we can root for at the B1G’s and hopefully for a few rounds at the NCAA’s

The real fun is the rest of the B1G 125’s. I really enjoy the fact it’s assured that two of the three top wrestlers will not be B1G champion, and two of them will not be NCAA champion. (I am hoping that the same guy wins both, if Cruz can’t get it done at nationals.)

I’m rooting against Tomasello for obvious school and team race implications, I’m anti Lee because of the incessant and annoying HR blather, and I don’t want Suriano to win this year for a number of reasons, so I'll be happy at least twice.

I doubt many on this board will say NATO because of the team race, but pick your poison… assuming it's one of those three, who do you want to win B1G 125, who NCAA 125?

I'm rooting hard for Nick..yeah, yeah, he left a bad taste after what happened this past year, but I've followed him since HS, and I think if healthy can win the whole thing.

Plus..rather him win than Nato or Lee for team implications

Spencer Lee. Not NATO for obvious reasons. Not Suriano because he left us "high and dry"

I guess the lesser of all evils would be Lee. Pennsylvania kid, didn't turn his back on his wrestling family, and Iowa is no factor to the team races in either tournament.

Besides, staying away from HR is always good for one's sanity, so I will just avoid it if Spencer wins.

At NCAAs I'll be rooting for Cruz, and guessing he's feeling overlooked and just a tad bit disrespected as a returning champ.

Also, I'm just really looking forward to the quarters, semis and finals for 125. Amazingly, at least two of Nato, Cruz, Lee, and Suriano won't survive the semis. Add in Lizak and Picc and at least two won't survive the quarterfinal round. It's going to be an awesome battle. I can't wait to watch.

Only downside to Cruz winning: he'll end up with a better career than Nico, who was clearly superior. Nico probably doesn't care either.

Rivera will be interesting to watch. If Cruiseliner Nick isn't right at B10s, he won't make the finals.

1. Cruz
2. Lizak
3. Anyone not named Lee, Suriano or Tomasello
*4. Tomasello
5. Lee
6. Suriano

* if winning affects team race then move to 6 and bump Lee and Suriano one spot.

Riviera from Northwestern is a fun kid to watch and he has wrestled Spencer and Suriano tough this year.

It’s unfortunate that we don’t have a title contender at the weight, but

.....but when Kuhn threw Nato into the scorers table, just for a minute it felt like we did :)

Darn that was an awesome move. Here's to hoping that Kuhn can have a nice run and end his short career at PSU with a bang
