I have a question about protecting a document on my phone.

Last weekend my wife and I had a medical emergency involving our elderly parents. We were in a pinch because we were away from home and didn't have access to medical info for our parents.

My idea is to create and store a password protected doc on our phones. This way we would have the info instantly.

Is this a good idea from a security POV?

There are a lot of APs that will do that for you. I use Password1

FWIW
I save pertinent docs to google drive and have access to that app on my phone. Makes things very accessible for work and personal business.
