This season reminds me of 1991. PSU finished 11-2 that season and number 3 in both the coaches and media polls behind Miami and Washington who split the mnc year. PSU played at Miami that year and lost a very close game; PSU also lost 38-17 to a really bad USC team in LA in the second or third game of the season that year. PSU toyed with Tennessee that year in the Fiesta being down 17-7 at half before they blew them out 42-17. Hope that psu gets USC in the Rose. If they win convincing they may again finish 3rd in the final polls but it should set up nicely for an mnc run next season. By the way, I know this is difficult but it's not necessarily bad for psu if osu can win the the title this year.
