What are the storylines you are hoping to hear about?

For me, I'd like to hear how well the passing game is coming along with a new QB and some turnover in the WR room although our potential #1 WR may not get here until summer.

Also, in general, just want to hear which younger players are stepping up to look like potential strengths in the 2 deep or pushing starters.

We also tend to like to over-analyze the weight changes on the spring roster.

6) True freshmen Washington and Tracy practicing well at CB and looking like they can contribute in 2023. But Duck and Dixon are running neck and neck to start along side King.

5) Competition to start at Safety is too close to call between Ellis, Reed, Wheatley and Winston, and Flowers up to 195 lbs and fighting for playig time as well.

4) At Mike LB, King has taken a big step in his quickness and leadership and is now the favorite to start. (I'm tired of seeing Elsdon on the ground and RB's running by against top 20 teams....)

3) Oline competition is fierce with Shelton and Wallace competition too close to call and every inside position up for grabs as well. DT's Izzard and Ellis fighting for the starting spot at 1 tech with van den Burg also looking stronger and improved but running neck and neck with Artis who has seemingly burst into the race to get into the 2-deep rotation. And at 3 tech great competition between Beamon and Durant, but with Townley being the talk of camp the 2 deep still very much to be decided in August.

2) DE's Robinson & Isaac show up and leave Spring practice 12 lbs stronger without losing a step, and looking more stout against the run during scrimmages. ;)

1) No Injuries

Your #1 is always key

I have never seen Wallace set the world on fire during his tenure as the starting right OT for PSU, and I'd place my money on him not being able to beat out Tengwall and/or Wormley, but who really knows. Wallace is a big strong young man and maybe I'm selling him short.

And I agree that from what we've seen in games Shelton's pass protection is significantly better than what we've seen from Wallace the last 3 seasons.

I guess the staff did not get your memo that Shelton's pass protection is significantly better.

Lol. HIS OWN POSTS contradict.

I always read Greg's posts.....they are usually football related and I learn a lot.

The one player who i do not get seeing much playing time is Van de Berg.......he works his butt off, but never seems to make any plays....at least when i pay attention.......hoping that Artis can be a plugger in the middle to help stop the run game.

I think Van de berg can be a playmaker. He's still pretty inexperienced and will only get better IMO.

Duh, buy yourself a clue.

Read the title of the thread and what the OP started and guess again.

Reading comprehension issues.......
