Nothing yet on purchasing the yearbook on the gopsusports website. Nor is it posted on-line, the 2014 yearbook is still on there. Anyone know anything?

It's usually on issuu. I usually get the 2 soccer ones also, but they aren't out either.

Makes me wonder if they are even doing them.

The town and gown issue out yet?

They probably don't want to release one because they would have to acknowledge the restored wins in the all-time record. It's not very Penn State to acknowledge success (with honor) under Joe.

I received mine a couple of weeks ago. I ordered it online from the gopsusports site. I actually have every media guide since 1965, except for the year PSU couldn't publish one because the roster was open to transfer.

Items I found interesting:

1. The records have been restored. The 2014 guide listed those NCAA-vacated seasons as 0 wins.

2. Jerry's name has been vacated as both an assistant coach and a letterman.

3. The incoming freshmen are now included within the regular team bios rather than as a separate listing for just recruits.

4. The Big Ten schedule maker once again has PSU playing OSU and Michigan back-to-back in 2016-17.

I received mine also. I have everyone back to 1970. The year that one was not printed, I took the refund instead of applying the credit to the next year's media guide. I photocopied the refund check and have it as a filler for the missing guide.

Besides the players and Joe, who gets credit for Linebacker U? It isn't popular or PC, but he was the defensive coordinator all those years and led many great defenses.

.

Is LaVon Chisley still listed?

"Jerry's name has been vacated as both an assistant coach and a letterman."
I don't understand the need to rewrite history. If need be, take a sentence, or a paragraph, or a page in the book and write what happened in as unbiased and factual a manner as possible. Let others know we are strong enough to acknowledge that some alums do bring same upon this University and we will not sweep that under the rug.
