Need to figure out the 3rd line center and take a flamethrower to Phil and Geno playing together. There's more chemistry in watching an elephant dance with a field mouse.

Cup hangovers given how much hockey these guys have played are probably to be expected....so can't exactly say the past two nights are concerning. If anything it's probably what they need to move forward.

They look like they don't want to be playing hockey any more than we want to be watching it. More often than not the organization gets off to a slow start. If they're playing without a pulse in six months then we can be concerned.

Well, the Pens did what was necessary. They put Niemi on waivers.....

16 goals against in under 7 periods of play. Worst save percentage (.797) of NHL goalies......
