Is it just me, or does something sound very wrong about this????? ESPECIALLY regarding recruiting, and ESPECIALLY after the tat incident at Ohio State which cost them a possible National Championship and their Sugar Bowl victory against an SEC team.
I mean maybe it's just his way of announcing, but if I'm Nick Saban, I would have hoped he would have been a little bit more discreet.
Why? There isn’t a journalist in the state of Alabama courageous enough to investigate anything the university does. They have posted photo after photo of their players holding stacks of money and posing in front of their free cars. You can find them on Twitter. The desire for discretion presupposes a sense of shame or the presence of dignity. Saban has neither and the whole conference knows “everybody does it.”
I don’t know about that. I’m sure an Auburn grad would be more than happy to dig up any dirt they could.

Actually, I am more suspicious of Auburn than Alabama. Back in the day I heard Joe Cribbs took a cut to work in the NFL.

2) Expects full classes or close to full to be the norm with juniors transferring and declaring for NFL.
3) Mentioned that Doug Nester could announce Monday or Tuesday. Not sure if he was visiting VT this weekend or not.
4) Nick Cross on campus this weekend. Is a potential flip. Nothing new there.

I thought Bama got Ishmael Sopsher who was their target for DT. supposedly lost interest in others. sort of kills the SC lead on Sorrells.
Did you notice at the end of the show that Jed had to throw in his OSU bias? Says the transition from Urbs to Day is seamless and their recruiting is just fine even though they won’t finish higher than third in the B1G. Says you have to count Fields’ transfer as part of 2019 recruiting....buzz off Jed, no one asked about OSU’s recruiting.
Why is Penn State inflicted with OSU fans David Jones and Jed? Do Ohio State media outlets employ Penn State fans? I highly f'g doubt it.

- January 28 SEC recruiting live stream with Paul Feinbaum, et.al. In this show they said Sopsher very likely to Bama, and Sorrells to South Carolina with faint chance of PSU.
- Today on Phil's show - "South Carolina the leader for Sorrells by most all the recruiters", said Phil - but he thought a chance for PSU.
