2020 PSU Men's LAX Thread

I really enjoyed watching this team last year...never thought I would change my schedule to watch a lacrosse match but...I did during the tournament last year :D

Army blocked the scrimmage from media and family. I don't even think we had a photographer/social media person from the program show up.

That's not all that big of a deal. The coaches, in consultation with the refs, may decide to run the scrimmage different than a normal game. While the main rules are still in place, they may change the time, and lots of other things. And while the players usually know the "unofficial" score, a lot of times they don't even keep score at scrimmages.

I suspect you know most of this -- I'm more using your reply to address @RCS-PSU70's post

Correct. They run 5 quarters in most scrimmages. The 5th quarter we get to see some of the freshman play which is nice to hear about.

I am more upset that they literally blacked out everyone from going, to your point, that could have been done by the coaches to try and hide something (like Ament's surgery from November).

Thanks for the effort, gentlemen, just had a bet with my son who plays lacrosse out here in SoCal. I will move the bet over to this weekend. Lacrosse is growing here in Southern California where we play year round (as clubs in the off season).

I wish the best for the LAX team however I do not find watching it exciting at all, and I have gone to three Penn State LAX games. I love watching hockey, but know some folks that find it boring to watch. To each their own I guess. Will be interesting to see if team can live up to its early season ranking...hopefully they can.
