Regardless that it ended on a really unfortunate slip, Beard's best match. He looked strong in the third and had Amine right there.
If Beard didn’t have that weird seizure/ spastic moment, he would have won. It was so odd

What happened? Looked like Kerkvliet stopped after that 2nd Parris TD.
He is just laying on top while parallel. That is the definition of stalling
Parris is doing what he needs to do. No issues with what he’s doing on top.

Kerk needs more mat time. He isn't looking any better against Parris than Snacks. It'll come, though.
Carl has two weeks to get this team in shape. Right now they are not quite ready.
He looks gassed. Parris is damn good, but I thought Kerk would give him a better match.

Parris is really good and prob the worst match up for Kerk as he can pretty match his quickness but has the strength and experience that Kerk lacks currently
Brands was ahead 7-5, and Brooks was wrestling on one leg. The final was 14-8, or 9-1 from that point, plus squeezed the Hawk's gas tank empty. Yeah, curb stomp works.

Steveson is pretty darned impressive. It's going to be interesting to see him and Parris go at it again.
He didn’t that match. And at least Nelson would get out to the side on occasion. Parris was parallel the entire time

they won’t be in 2 weeks either. But we are young and setting the stage for a nice run in the next 3 years.
Is something wrong with Kerks knee that has the sleeve on it? Injuries are the great equalizer. Regroup for the next round
It was clear that Kerk was low energy in the first match, whether from the time off or feeling bad today. Surprised he lasted 7 against Parris.
Kerk is dangerous, but looks like he needs more mat time. But at least he tried to score - had one TD and most of Paris' TDs were counters off of Kerk shots.
Wish Beau and Robbie came out like this last time. Just nerves, I guess?
Kirk just needs time.....Beard... LOVE the effort. Caught off balance but had a seasoned Vet. Beard going places!
