Leewtih a double to a single, and gets the TD, 2-0. Working on a tilt but not long enough, then another tilt but only 1 swipe, nothing. Another tilt and only 1 swipe so no NF. RT goes over 1 min. Lee basically cuts him, 2-1. Lee with a single and gets the TD as they go OOB with 55 sec left, 4-1. Caution on Lee for not setting up properly. A tilt and getting swipes and 2 NF before they go OOB, 6-1, with 24 sec left. End. RT @ 2:08 for Lee

Get your point, but a little unfair. Nick Lee did get back points, and a major.
Technically, 6 points. He got a 2 pt near fall in both matches off of the rides.
Having been there myself a long time ago ("there" being a "eh, pretty good" wrestler running into a guy tiers above you, and knowing with absolute certainty that you will lose this match), I really sympathize with Sherman there, completely unable to do anything but just wrestling through it anyway.
Maybe you can find your way back to the football board? The last thing we need around here are negative Nancys.

So far, despite being a weird year for seeding, 125 is nearly chalk for the semis (Lamont at 7 being the exception), 133 and 141 are chalk.

Yahya Thomas has had a nice tourney, and Sasso was lucky to get past his R2 match. This could be a good quarterfinal match
If the Lewallen that wrestled yesterday shows up he’s going to lose.
All those quarters are going on right now but the chances are good they'll be chalk too. 1, 2, 3, 4 wrestling 25, 7, 6, 12.
That was my thought as well. Lewallen needs to step it up from yesterday and take advantage that apparently the NCAA chief of officiating considers that use of a stopwatch is comparable to rocket science.
Who else misses being live and hearing the announcer say......and Nick Lee is an All Amercan!!!!! I love that!!!!!
Are they running through all weights or taking a break? The NCAA site doesn't mention a break but I don't see mat assignments above 157.
Ok. They list that as the semifinals on the NCAA website and not the quarters. I thought it was strange and was wondering if they made a mistake.
