Man. amines eye is swollen shut. Kudos for that effort
Jason Bryant? Never heard of him.Does anybody know if that is Jason Bryant announcing over the stadium audio? Whoever it is he knows what he's talking about.
Better to change the rule. Like in Freestyle. No action start over.Which is why he never gets better nobody in that room tells him that's not ok. Iowa wrestling all the way. No matter how offensive lee or Kemmerer are it will not change that tradition that's all the brands no. Get a take down and stallllllll lmfao

He's the only who can pull it off.Just relax, he wrestles very patient and waits for the 3 point TD opportunities.
I was at East Stroudsburg open when Nolf and others wrestled in red shirt year.Cassar, as a light heavy, did not have that much trouble getting out from bottom the year he won his title. I saw him ridden as a 197 pounder, and really thought it would be his Achilles heal up a weight class. I know the coaches worked very hard on this aspect of his game, and it paid off. I can't remember a single bout in the 2019 season where him being ridden was a factor. It can be attributed to great coaching.
I see what you did there lolJust relax, he wrestles very patient and waits for the 3 point TD opportunities.
^This^ I know our standard is national titles, but I’m just plum tickled with how the good guys in blue competed, also the fact that this tourney even happened. 2nd place with 4 finalists and 6 AA is WAY better than last year.To me, this is the year that could have been. Could have been if everything went 100% the right way. I never believed we could take Iowa this year. That said, it's Saturday morning, we have more in the finals than Iowa, and we're still talking about what Iowa needs to win. Cannot wait for this evening. Been a great year considering all our youth and guys just coming back to wrestling.
I actually think we'll be fine for second, but you know who's sweating it out... Austin Harris who pinned Zach Elam and then threw his headgear in celebration which got OK State docked a team point.
Yeah, and your point?Gotta say that OkSt looks to be favored to pull out 2nd. RBY probably needs to beat Fix for PSU to take it.
Absolutely. We have a ton to look forward to. Also. We don't have idiotic posters making posts regarding stalling and roids. That's so embarrassing. If someone did that sh&t, they should be banned for life. It's one thing to call out stalling, it happens, but to make a post in order to degrade a wrestler, is way over the top. Iowa is going to win a Natty, and that's the sh%t on that board. This is clearly the best wrestling board out there. The people here have been absolutely amazing. I'm not joking about that. This board and its posters are phenomenal.^This^ I know our standard is national titles, but I’m just plum tickled with how the good guys in blue competed, also the fact that this tourney even happened. 2nd place with 4 finalists and 6 AA is WAY better than last year.
Very nice tournament for them. The double MFF they received in the Bloodround looms large.
That wouldn’t have happened if they had Ref#6it gave me a yearning for FS, as a lot of the 3rd period Wittlake was doing not much more than chewing up time
Tom-Thanks for your PBP. I thoroughly enjoy the detail you provide and since I am crazy busy at work it is a great way to keep up on what is happening with all the Nittany Lion wrestlers. As I noted last night, I have something else to attend at 1 pm today. At the rate they are going through the placement matches, there's a good chance that I won't be able to do PBP for either Beard or Kerk's match. Just a heads up.
And of your 6 AA’s, 4 are freshman and you still nearly won..... looks like another big run.^This^ I know our standard is national titles, but I’m just plum tickled with how the good guys in blue competed, also the fact that this tourney even happened. 2nd place with 4 finalists and 6 AA is WAY better than last year.
I thought you guys were a lock for having 10 finalists and setting an all time scoring record?
And if your 6 AA’s 4 are freshman and you still nearly won..... looks like another big run.
I know one HC who told me two years ago that 2021 was the best time to catch PSU and after that, forget it.
You do great work here, Tom. Always appreciated. I mean, it’s not PBP by period and your coverage of wrestlers from towns 30 minutes away SC are lacking, but I can forgive that. Did I hit all the beats? Oh, yeah and mat for Carton/Pletcher?As I noted last night, I have something else to attend at 1 pm today. At the rate they are going through the placement matches, there's a good chance that I won't be able to do PBP for either Beard or Kerk's match. Just a heads up.
Whoever has the gauntlet, how about now for that finger snap?... Iowa and PSU are the only two teams that could still win, and PSU would basically have to pin in every one of their matches, and also have Iowa lose all their matches.
OK St. officially out of the team championship.

Iowa's magic number is down to 1.5. Two more wins or a win with any bonus in this round will clinch it.OK St. officially out of the team championship.

...and our next pin, would be our first pin.OK St. officially out of the team championship.

And may our next win be a pinfall win....and our next pin, would be our first pin.
Are you just begging for Ranger Dan to thank you on behalf of everyone?I think his point is, that it looks like OK State will finish 2nd unless RBY beats Fix.
That would have made 4 AA's at 125 for the Big Ten which would've surprised me more.Is anyone else as shocked as I am that Schroder didn't AA @125.
Thanks Tom. Really appreciate your great effort!okay guys, I'm going to have to check out of this thread. I'll see you guys tonight, for the finals
