Well, that's unfortunate, if true. Would love to get another force on the interior DL.
The top talent at St. Frances Academy is pushed to the SEC and Michigan. St. Frances is able to recruit and board players from across the country, because the players want to play at a top high school, college, and the NFL. Football is the priority. In fact, I think football is what keeps St. Frances in business because there was a risk several years ago that the school would close. If Penn State lands a top player from St. Frances, then I will be shocked.
Biff poggi runs the program. Basically without him the school would close. Basketball is high profile too as they get kids from all over. Coaching at hoops isnt as good though, but they are still very good because of athletes.
Biff coached at Michigan for a bit as his son went there. He is a me guy and so are many of his players.

Cross broke down both of his leaders:
Penn State: "They grabbed my attention because they're really interested in me. They want to use me right away. I'm learning more about their program and the history of their program."
Wisconsin: "They are also recruiting me very strongly. I'm high on that as well."

Saunders + Cross in '22 is about as hot of a start on the offensive side of the ball as you could ask for.

'22 is going to be off to a hot start. Always great to get that QB early so that he can lead the class. Hoping Pribula has a healthy in-state relationship with Ivey and Flowers.
Will be a very nice pickup if a quality guy who lives so close to Madison picks State over Wisky.
We all want to be right there with OSU. Realistically, we had to consistently beat Wisconsin, Michigan and Sparty. We’re getting there. And, I think the Buddin and other 21 recruits from Michigan, Cross and Saunders shows that many in the region feel we’re getting close to be a strong 2 in B1G
