Think you may mean a lot of tread worn from those tires (i.e., not much tread left).couple of 6th year illinois boys battling there. lot of tread on those tires
Are both wrestlers bald?Think you may mean a lot of tread worn from those tires (i.e., not much tread left).
Well, it sure helped Hendrickson when his opponent willingly rolled over onto his back. How often do you see 285s stick guys with suicide cradles (Kerk) and butchers (Hendrickson)? Friggin’ awesome.
Every now and then he comes to life and pulls an upsethis usual!
I think it's 7. Bartlett and Haines didn't bonus and no 125.8 bonus in round 1 is a good start. Didn't expect it from Bartlett obviously, was hoping maybe Haines/Dean could pick up some but SVN doing what he did was amazing.
They're all done until 7:00Do they go straight into consis or is this it for the first round?
8 bonus pts -- 3 pins + 2 majors.I think it's 7. Bartlett and Haines didn't bonus and no 125.
I think Hendrickson had more than a little say in the matter. But whatevs.Well, it sure helped Hendrickson when his opponent willingly rolled over onto his back.
My bad. I thought he meant 8 wrestlers got bonus. I still would've been wrong because 5 got bonus.8 bonus pts -- 3 pins + 2 majors.

Don't strain your neck with too much self back pattingGood round other than 165 as I forecast accurately last week.
Wish AJ had another round or two before hitting the top seeds. How did he do in his first match? He tweaked his neck and back in the B12 tournament.R1 for PSU: 8-1 with 3 Falls and 2 Major Decisions.

This is an amazing post.Good round other than 165 as I forecast accurately last week.
Can you delete the last sentence so I can like your post?Thoughts on first round. 8 of 9 is great. Facundo was disappointing, and even more disappointing that he drew Ramirez right away on the backside. Unfortunately looks like 1-2 BBQ for him. I feel like that third period for SVN was like the moment in superhero origin movies where they start discovering their powers. LOL, Kerk. That was crazy. Off to basketball for a couple hours now.
I don’t know how much of an effect that has, but Paniro certainly looked vulnerable in that one.Wish Van Ness got Johnson off the scale....Johnson has plenty of time to refuel
What else is there to do? LOL.Can you delete the last sentence so I can like your post?
since you seem to be able to recall history fairly well.....Don't strain your neck with too much self back patting
Look for “random” stats from R1What else is there to do? LOL.
Survived an early scare last year…After session one last year.

This year.....

It's a shame, I think if Robbie had been healthy the last 2 years, he would have had a solid shot at the podium with how much parity there is after the first 2. He was R16 as a freshman when he basically started his true freshman season in February after recovering from shoulder surgery and COVID.Lower seed victories in R1 (not including pigtail matches):

At 125, the 26, 27 and 28 seeds all won.
To be fair, the 28 seed was Killian Cardinale. That was basically a QF caliber match.Lower seed victories in R1 (not including pigtail matches):

Never should have cut the MohawkPoulin goes down. So many upsets already! The 5 and 6 go down at 125
I thought it happened in 2014…But I admittedly do not track such stats.since you seem to be able to recall history fairly well.....
Do you or anyone else know if a Penn State team has ever won the Natty with the lead wire to wire?
Thanks, you too. Now, BRING BACK THE MATCASTFun session. Love all you bozos, even if we disagree.
a good kid, and fun to watch for sure...Feel for Siebrecht. obviously not rooting for him because of his team but love kids who weren't heralded take a chance, improve in a good room and make a name for themselves. He was killing it this year (the Lewan match sold me) and the shoulder is definitely a thing obviously. He's very reliant on his ties so it affects him especially (he's not quite like Kemerer who can adjust and still be a high AA but it obviously affected him big time as well)
