Wrestling 2023 NCAA Tournament Live Thread

3-2 Dean after one. Traded TDs.

Dean on bottom. Quick escape. 4-2 Dean. 4-2 after two.

Cardenas chooses neutral. 4-2 is the final.

Dean wins his final college match! Against Cornell too. Thank you Max. Congratulations.

Beau and SVN both had great tournaments. Wouldn't have surprised me if they finish 3rd even if Hardy and Murin had advanced.

Dean placing with Allred failing too is the really interesting one. Sometimes the bracket breaks your way. Of course Allred had it right there in front of him and Warner took him out.
Bartlett and Van Ness are textbook proof, if there ever was any, that the Penn State coaches know how to both RECRUIT and DEVELOP good wrestlers!

I thought that was one here, maybe it was the other thread...Ironside said he "wasn't aware of any injury" that would have prevented Spencer from wrestling, then he inferred that Spencer could not overcome the mental defeat to be able to wrestle
Not gonna say why i think it but I'm guessing this is 100 percent accurate. Funny though, I was suspended from HR back in the day for putting it out there that Spencer didn't have mono and it was something else. Even funnier was it was Ironside that was saying on air that it was mono even though it was a bunch of bullshit.

So 5 PA kids in finals right…
Starocci
Labriola
Sasso
Bonnaccorsi

And then the non paisan … Haines

Am I missing anyone ?
Could we add Aaron? Hagerstown is close enough to PA that Aaron could toss a Brands brother into PA. If that's not close enough, Hagerstown is closer to PA than Hidlay is to being in the center of the mat.

This simply is not true. GIA, if it knows anything, is certain Carl cannot coach and/or develop wrestlers.
My wife is severely directionally challenged. Before GPS I woud simply ask my wife what do you think, left or right, keep going or turn around. No matter what, her answer was always my answer. If she said left I went right, if she said straight ahead I turned around. When it comes to direction she is 100% always wrong. The thing I like about HR is that they are never right.
