We have a great group of guys (not all Hawkeye fans) who love the sport and live for this tournament every year. That would be an interesting atmosphere inside the Hawkeye suite, especially after Spyker starts his rant on how Brands makes Iowa wrestlers hate wrestling. If Syker did actually exist, that would be the last time he’d ever be seen.

On a serious note. Was at National Duals in 2002. The UNI team was sitting next to us, including Brad Penrith (think he was the head coach at the time). Jared Frayer goes up on Mike Zadick like 10 - 0. One of the UNI guys said "now watch Zadick come back". Sure enough, Zadick mounted a comeback, broke Frayer, and won something like 19-18.
Would be cool listening to Mark Perry in that setting.

I have met many Iowa fans at past NCAA--for the most part great guys--I ignore most of the guys on HR--they are not a true representation of the Hawkeye faithfull.

Have enjoyed reading the responses to my initial post. I must admit, I would love it if one of your faithful fans won the tix; I’m eager to show you that most of us Hawkeyes are damn good people who happen to be a little (lot) crazy about wrestling.

We did not set a max on the # of raffle tickets that can be sold (to answer Hockeygod11).
