Better question - how many times have we lost the finals as a hard favorite? Bo/MyMar is the only one I could really think of. DT/Bubba hindsight 20-20 also. Technically Dake was the lower seed to Molinaro. Obviously most times there aren't "solid favorites" in the NCAA finals.
If PSU is 45-5 in the semis than 32-14 can't be the correct number. Whatever it is, it is sure impressive.

I’m all messed up on it too. But one thing is certain, 45-5 was wrong.
I went through the brackets and verified Willie’s semifinalists.
They are 45-5 in the semi-finals. Whatever the finals record, the number of win and losses needs to total 45, not 46. If we are 45-5 in the semi-finals and have 46 finalists HR is going to accuse Cael of cheating.
