I can't count how many times PSU has gotten the football with a lead and not much time left and all they have to do is get two or three first downs and the game is over. What ends up happening is the team doesn't get the first down and has to punt.
PSU has no power or short yardage running game whatsoever. Heck, I don't think Rahne runs the ball outside of the tackles. I'd have to imagine we practice short yardage situations, but I do have my doubts since the team appears to be very bad it. That's not even taking into the count yesterday Clifford snapped the ball a couple times without even using all the time on the play clock. And then there was the long incomplete pass on 3rd down.....stopping the clock.
Seems like elementary stuff. Think the staff can get this implemented in two weeks?
