Maybe rewatching this Football in 60 replay is part of the sick healing process, but regardless of the line woes and odd play calling late, we still had several chances to win this game. Barrett was precision point in the 4th but a few things stuck out as potential game changers.
1) For you coaches, the play where Barkley was tackled for almost a safety I felt Trace made the wrong read. I might be mistaken but had he kept the ball looked like he had endless land in front of him but instead Barkley got hit almost at the handoff. We ended up getting out of that goal line jam but not much further.
2) Christian Campbell almost had a pick on the second to last OSU TD drive. Not sure how he didn’t nab it.
3) On the go ahead TD drive, Cabinda was one step away from getting to Barrett before he reeled off a big pass, catch and run. May have changed the complexion of down and distance.
SMH on the post fumble recovery “drive”, the 4 min offense “drive” and inability to move an inch with the ball at the 40 and 100 seconds left with 2 TO.
Anyway, on to next week. Season ain’t over.
