I’m looking for some bipartisan support here from the board elders in instituting a new rule that honestly doesn’t even need to be official or even enforced.
The rule:
Henceforth, a moratorium on calling for coaches to be fired while a game is going on.
The punishment:
A relaxation of board decorum for those who publicly belittle and harangue offenders of said rule.
Sunday through Friday, suggest firings for anyone you want. During a game, it is the height of silly to demand a coach get fired because a series of plays, or specific play, doesn’t transpire the way you’d hoped.
What say you, board vets?
