Abdul’s injury?

Could it have been a dislocated shoulder they put back in in the tent?

My brother had a chronic shoulder dislocation back in high school. Strange how slight contact at a proper angle (usually above shoulder height) would pop it out. Hurt like hell to pop it back in, but he was usually back in the game in about five minutes.
Played a most of a football season and a full basketball season with it before getting it fixed in the spring.
PSU’s staff isn’t going to risk Carter’s career. But I expect we will see him at least some if he can go next game.

Sucks for Abdul and the team! I'd like to say next man up, but there was noticeable drop off on our play on D after he left.

I’d be down worried I just lost draft position and a couple million.
Unless he needs major surgery he's a top 10 lock
I'm not sure why you think anything we saw last nights indicates he lost draft position
Carson Beck had surgery and still entered the draft. No injury is going to change the tape on Carter unless he's out all of next year--then he goes in the second or late first

I’d go further and say he was just a notch down from Carter. Great to see.
Yep, Vanover has played at a very high level over the last 2 years only being overshaddowed due to PSU having Chop, Carter, DDS,.... But if Carter is out the staff will likely have to go to the next DE in line for playing time and get him mentally ready to play 10-15 snaps in the next game. Granville and/or Harvy will need to perform at a high enough level to be able to rest Vanover and DDS enough to be ready to close a game against a top 5 team in the 4th quarter...

Whatever it is, it’s pretty bad. Watch the play after the one where he hurt it, he couldn’t even lift his arm up.

He’ll be shutdown then…
If that’s the case, it’s been a great run. Perhaps we can beat ND or Georgia without him if AK and offense come through, but it would be highly improbable to beat OSU or Oregon without Carter.

I would think if the staff thought it was that serious he would have been taken for further evaluation, tests, treatment.

Definitely a shoulder as he appeared to have a brace on it but also seemed in good spirits.
Upper arm or shoulder. Shoulder dislocation and he is not on sidelines laughing with arm at his side. I think it was cautionary to avoid injuring it further. We did not absolutely need Carter. Vanover filled in quite nicely. We kept Jeanty bottled up. The QB made some nice throws but one busted coverage TD all night

He was still in his jersey, not taken to the locker room. No heavy brace. JF said that he’ll want to play. All signs point to the injury being something that Abdul will try to play through it if possible.

I don’t think you guys realize how many Penn State fans are in Florida. There are Penn State bars all over the state for a reason.

Remember the 2006 Orange Bowl? We outnumbered FSU fans pretty easily. Although that trip from Tallahassee is no short trip, but still.
