The options were Poindexter or Allen, we got Allen. Either option was good. Anyone saying that Allen may not be a good DC is just talking to talk.

The guys that don’t like this hire are the same guys that were saying Allen was a better coach than Franklin. It would be nice if they were ever even slightly consistent.

Interested to see if he can stop UM from running the ball down our throats for the past 2 years. 2023 was bad enough; 2022 was a total embarrassment when we were totally whipped at the LOS. For some reason, we are no longer able to recruit run stuffing DT's.
