There is some uncertainty about Thompson's eligibility status. It's not 100% clear to me if they are petitioning for another year based on (??) or if it wasn't clear what his initial status was when he transferred and they are trying to get clarification.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

I'm guessing (hoping) Alex's portaling means Riley has another year, but we will see.
