Last pass sailed due to knee injury (to open Wallace). Great job by whole team in a hostile and loud atmosphere. Pribula rose to the moment as did D in second half. 30 second half points all season in 7 games! Lots of Penn Staters celebrated all over Madison. So proud of this team and can’t wait for Nov 2 to be loud and proud!! Biggest home game in a long time with a lot on the line

The sad part is Allar was 14-16 but we only scored 7 points. Just like we only scored 7 in the first half against Illinois and 6 in the first half against USC.

We're playing like Washington who has outgained every opponent this year but found a way to lose 4 games. PSU hasn't lost because we have more talent than Washington but that's likely to catch up to us if we can't get it corrected. It could be a dropped pass, a fumbled snap, or an ill timed penalty. It's tough when you move the ball but can't score.

Drew played fine yesterday - Flemming really let him down when offense was on a roll (really disappointing as Flemming had really been coming on including a great catch earlier in the game - saddest part is that he made the tough catch but dropped a gift-wrapped easy reception due to extremely poor fundamentals [he clearly didn't watch the ball into his hands - and looked up field just as ball was coming in. Swinging your head forward like this rotates your shoulders forward which literally moves your hand placement and is what caused the drop as ball hit off the base of his palms instead of the center of his hands.]). A reallly bad drop as it is going to cause his QB, and coaches, not to "trust" him as a receiving option - really unfortunate given his recent improved play.

People need to remember that the clock moves after first downs so generally you get one fewer drive per half now. Plus short yardage rushing was not good yesterday and combine that with a penalty making it a longer third down and you can see why they only got one touchdown drive in the first half

Let's not forget that the Flemming drop was an absolute momentum killer - had their defense on their heels for second straight drive and he drops the easiest of easy catches.
