He has the first throw which is a good 20-25 yards then they spike the ball close to midfield which at least gives them a shot at a Hail Mary and still have 16+ seconds if Pitt gives you the sideline for a few more.
I also never used the word manageable.
The issue isn't they didn't score. They issue is he missed an easy throw then could make a read so he threw the ball to the wrong spot on the next 3.
