Antonio Brown thread

You would have to be nuts to sign Brown after this. With all that said, I’m not sure how he’s going to look in a Cowboys uniform.

Nobody can really afford him at this point, can they? At least not unless he took a really, really, team-friendly deal right.?

Again, do they have the cap space to absorb the money he's going to want?
If I understand the rules correctly, because he would not have been on any opening day rooster (and he won't be) any contact he signs with another team would not be guaranteed. He essentially would be playing on a week to week contract

And he wanted to be released because his contract with the Raiders was no longer guaranteed.

Raiders release brown. Steelers look smart now. Can they get him for a nickel.

Watch Dallas or patriots take him

He’ll have several teams interested in him. But how much guaranteed money would you offer him if YOU were an NFL general manager? IMHO, no way he gets anything close to what the Traitors had agreed to pay him.

Cleveland has $35 million of cap space available. You think they wouldn't want to use him to beat the Pittsburgh? He could potentially put them over the top as a SB contender.

Why would he Browns want AB the troublemaker? They already have a starting duo of Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry. I don’t think prima donna AB would want to be relegated to a backup role.

Brown is better than OBJ and Landry if you ignore the drama. Although OBJ is full of drama too so AB's still probably better.

AB would be signed somewhere in a week. Coaches and GMs trying to save their jobs this year would put up with almost anything to have his talent available to them. Players nowhere near as talented as AB who have done much worse still get signed.

JMO but the difference is that those players have done those "worse" things OFF the field.
This guy is pouring gas on the turf and using a flame thrower to light it.
If any GM or HC wants to keep their jobs they should probably stay as far away from him as possible. I don't care how
good he is...or was.

If I were a better man, I wouldn't bother with an "I told you so," but there was no chance AB's talent remained unsigned during his peak for any period of time.
