Antonio Brown thread

Yinz should be more worried why 2 of the best Stillers of the last 40 years acted like a-holes to get out. Not, what’s pats do.
The real issue is why the NFL allows players to torpedo their team and make it impossible to get any trade value, and then some other team can pick them up for far below market price. All without having to risk much, that is the problem. You give a guy like that (another) chance then it should come with repercussions if he does what he had done repeatedly. And don't give me the roster spot is enough risk bullshit.

The things your fans said about him before and after you signed him are nothing short of despicable. The New England Buckeyes are what you should be known as.

Now go back to your message board where all of you agree with each other and craft responses to what other people say to any one of you. This is a pretty good board to learn how to do that too.

Gordon and Brown. So much to be proud of.

You guys are unified in your message, I will give you that. So, as long as you don't hit a woman it literally doesn't matter what else you do. You guys would be so hilarious if you weren't so pathetic.

Off to your message board where everyone agrees with you. Have fun.

What would you say if KC signed him? Huh? I already know the answer but I'll hang up and listen.

Wow... that's looks like a lot of work you put in there. Unpaid bar bills and throw furniture. Bad dude. I'm not saying he isn't selfish and self centered...but all this stuff combined pales in comparison to many players, like Big Ben, Hunt, etc...
Took me about 3 minutes. And you're just being dense on purpose. Throwing furniture out of a crowded apartment building and almost hitting a child is not trivial. Not even in Boston.

New England Patriots receiver Antonio Brown has been accused of raping his former trainer, according to a federal lawsuit filed Tuesday in the Southern District of Florida.

The lawsuit says that Brown — in three separate incidents, two in June 2017 and another in May 2018 — sexually assaulted a woman named Britney Taylor, a gymnast whom he met while they were attending Central Michigan together and whom he later hired as a trainer.

“Mr. Brown denies each and every allegation in the lawsuit,” said a statement from Darren Heitner, a lawyer representing Brown. “He will pursue all legal remedies to not only clear his name but to also protect other professional athletes against false accusations.”

According to the lawsuit, Brown sexually assaulted Taylor twice during training sessions in June 2017. First, he exposed himself and kissed her without her permission, the lawsuit says. Later that month, the lawsuit says, while she was watching a television program at his home, Brown started masturbating behind her and ejaculated on her back. Brown bragged about the incident in profane text messages that are copied in the lawsuit.

Taylor ended her working relationship with Brown, the lawsuit says, but several months later, when he contacted her to apologize, she relented. She was, according to the lawsuit, “swayed by his assurance that he would cease any sexual advances.”

Then, the lawsuit says, on May 20, 2018, Brown forced her onto a bed, pushed her face into the mattress and “forcibly” raped her. She tried to resist him, screaming and repeatedly shouting “no” and “stop,” the lawsuit says, but Brown refused and penetrated her.

“As a rape victim of Antonio Brown, deciding to speak out has been an incredibly difficult decision,” Taylor said in a statement released by her lawyer. “I have found strength in my faith, my family, and from the accounts of other survivors of sexual assault.”

In the statement, Taylor said she would cooperate with the N.F.L. in an investigation.

It was not clear whether Taylor reported her accusations to the police.

Brown, 31, one of the most productive wide receivers in the N.F.L., became a Patriot on Monday after a series of conflicts prompted the Oakland Raiders to release him last week. The teams could not immediately be reached for comment.

Brown is a resident of South Florida, where the lawsuit was filed.

AB has acted like such a model citizen of late, who wouldn’t take his word that he didn’t rape his former trainer??!? That said, what a perfect fit for that piece of shit organization in foxboro....I mean if anyone would know how to turn this fiasco into a “happy ending” it’d be that cock sucker bobby kraft!!

Yet, you kept him around for 10 years!!
Who kept him around for 10 years? Sorry, I'm not a Rooney. I think he's a total scumbag and have thought that for years. I thought the same of Big Ben (In fairness, he seems to have changed his ways. At least the predatory part). I stopped following the team shortly after Ben's incidents. I don't watch the games, but it's hard to get away from the headlines. I checked in 2 years ago when the Steelers played the Patriots and somehow Jesse James stretches the ball to the end zone but didn't catch it. And I thought, "Oh yeah, the NFL is a really shitty product". Part of that shitty product, but certainly not all of it, is Belicheck and Brady stretching, bending, and breaking every rule they can get away with. AB played the Steelers and Gruden. I never thought it would come to this, but I feel bad for Gruden. Steelers should have sent him packing 2 years ago.
And oh, you better check the daily headlines for Saint AB.

Calling bull on this. I can’t stand him, but the timing is strange.
When is the timing good with this guy? When is he not making a complete spectacle of himself and pissing on his teammates and the people paying him a million dollars a game?

Can we add rapist to the list?
I thought Atlanta has the best strip clubs in the country? I'm surprised he picked Boston over ATL. Oh, wait, they already have a stud of a receiver that's going to make a Hell of lot more money than AB in the next 3 years.

It's a load of shit and everyone knows it... But read the Twitter comments from the link regarding the text messages. Very funny stuff. I love Twitter

I guess if you’re a patriots fan making excuses is just in your dna.
I am not making excuses... pointing out fact. No criminal charges, or even any interaction with law enforcement. Sounds like he is a bit of a mean twisted fvck but this really looks like a pissed off chick trying to extract revenge for being treated poorly and possible not getting $$. We'll see ow it progresses through the CIVIL system.

It looks like a few different things. All depends upon the lens you view it through.
I’m intrigued to see where this lawsuit goes and what the NFL has to say/do about this.

Me too. Love the fact it came out hours after official new deal was signed. If this thing picks up steam and overwhelming evidence proves it true then cut the guy and move one. My gut tells me this is a shake down though

Could well be. But, wouldn’t the better time (or maybe just as good a time) to shake him down have been after signing the Raiders deal?
