I remember that. I get that Cornell wrestlers were going to speak up but he would not shut up. But I'm guessing he's super close to Yianni (I think they're the same recruiting class so possibly roommates) and he's just sticking up for his best friend.
But yes, I do hope Carter takes him out.
It makes sense for him to get a sense of what it will take in the weight class--but he's definitely small.

What's a good foil for a Grecco guy? Quick leg attacks and punishing riding will do the trick. That's as quality a win as any in his scuffle run, right?

Spent a little time chatting with Terrell today. He is a very impressive kid...on and off the mat.
I think we learned a little something at the Scuffle:

Think he's got a lot of work to do. Defense is good but lets people in too deep - can't rely on a defensive scramble every time. Glad to see him out working!
Is he someone who can start. He is impressive. Pretty sure he went to the Sanderson wreslting club in Utah
Bearclaw lost 10-0 to Kolodzik. Looked good on top, but not nearly enough. Still, that's a true freshman against a 3x AA.
Carter Starocci wins the Edinboro Open with a dominant 10-3 decision over Chris Foca (Cornell RS).
Starocci 10-3 over Foca, and was clearly going for the major at the end but ran out of time.
Man, Carter is ready now and is going to be such a force next year.
Was just thinking the same -- very few guys returning next year who I'd favor over him right now: Kemerer, Amine, Labriola. I guess maybe Romero could get him on a bad day.
Barring some huge name bumping up from 165, that's it.
And that doesn't factor in his improvements this offseason.
Reasonable people can disagree. I'm only concerned with the people who post here on BWI. I believe the vast majority of the posters on this site understand the rules and they also understand the English language is full of nuance (e.g., "sent" can have different meanings). As for the many non-poster/readers you cite, I've never considered them. Why would I? I'm here to talk sports with like-minded individuals, not have one-way conversations.
Starocci was 26-0 in takedowns and did not allow a single offensive point.
This had me thinking about other weights and who’s returning to match up with your very young 165-HWT lineup. How do you think Lee, Starocci, Brooks, Beard, and Kerkvliet/Nevills fare?

I think Starocci would be a handful at NCAA's this year.
165 - 2-2 or R12
174 - 3rd/4th
184 - 1st
197 - 5th/6th but could go higher/lower depending on draw; needs work on bottom, will get bonus on top
HWT - Kerk 2-4; Nevills 6th-8th and could fluctuate with draw
Probably can scratch Amine, seems like he will be at 184 next season. Qualified for the Olympics at 86kg and it would be a pretty big cut after getting body bigger for the Olympics.
In terms of NCAA scoring
165 4-6
174 15-19
184 20-25
197 12-16
285 16-20
That’s 67-86 without 125-157. 133 will probably score more this year than next as Suriano, Micic, and Fix return from redshirt plus Desanto, Rivera, Philippi, and Alvarez all return. 141 is probably in the finals with Yianni. I don’t know who you will have at 149 but Berge at 157 will be competing against Hidlay, Deakin, Young, Carr, Monday, Humphrey’s, Hartman, and Lewan. Even with Eierman coming in, if your freshman/sophomore Brooks perform like you expect it could be a very tight team race.
