Anybody ever fish the Raquette river in upstate New York?

I have fished the St. Regis river which is in close proximity to the
Raquette but never the Raquette itself. I am just looking for information because I plan to fish it in July.

Yeah, I did. It was about 40 years ago. Six of us went up for a long weekend. I remember we did catch fish, however we had a whole lot of beer with us, that is why I do not remember very much else. Well, the beer and I am getting real old.

Thank you. My trip was canceled so instead now I am heading to another killer smallmouth river in Maine called the "Penobscot" near Milford Maine. I have a trip on the Susquehanna planned for early August so by summers end I will have fished 3 of the top ten smallmouth rivers in the United States.
