anybody listening to the UFO hearings today?

It’s classified
So Kirby (and the government) is lying to us. I understand we need classified research programs, but why do it over one of the most populated areas of the country if they want to keep it a secret? This administration is loaded with a bunch of arrogant fools!

P.S. Keep shooting at these things......they represent the total arrogance of our government!

You may be correct on this, but why the hell are they piloting one of these things due west of the City of Lancaster over what I would guess to be farmland/rural land and roughly 170 miles or more from the coast? My neighbor has been telling me for weeks that one of these things has been hovering fairly low in the western sky each night. I saw what she was talking about but didn't look closely and I didn't believe her, however I took a closer look tonight and I think she is correct. It's not a plane....it doesn't move much. It doesn't emanate a white light like a star or planet, but multi-color lights (blue/white/red) as best as I could tell. We get plenty of planes and helicopters flying over us, and this is different for sure.

First, if we are to believe Admiral John Kirby, they don't know what these things are or he says many of the sightings are just planes or helicopters (no this one isn't either of those!). That means we either don't have the capability to discern what they are or the ability to take them out if they are from an adversary. That is very concerning. And if he is lying to the American people that just sucks. He doesn't have to tell us exactly what they are or what their mission is, but he could level with us and admit it is a top secret military test. Either way, it further undermines my confidence in this administration, if that could get any lower. After all they let a goofy Chinese spy balloon float over sensitive areas with no response until it completed its mission. A weak, feckless response any way you slice it.

This is the same country that, 80 years ago, successfully led the free world in a global conflict that was ended by the strategic use of the first nuclear weapons.

Fast forward 3 generations and we now have "leadership" that claims it does not understand the source of hundreds of slow, low flying objects over the northeast of our country that have been reappearing every night.

Nearly half of our society thought these people should retain their leadership roles. Let that sink in.

Good - keep shooting! They won't take one down, but I hope they heavily damage one of these very expensive "classified" government UAV's. If they are lying to us citizens and aren't doing a damned thing to stop it or explain it, keep shooting!
I agree ... keep shooting ... and videotape yourself shooting, with name and address, so we can get the nutters off the streets.

There were more sightings last night and the geographic areas are expanding into Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, and Connecticut...though New Jersey continues to be ground zero so to speak.

At this point I do think there's a certain amount of what you might call social contagion where people are sometimes imagining or misinterpreting things. But given what are now hundreds or even thousands of reports, recently increasing in number, over the last month, there's little doubt that the phenomenon is real; people are seeing drone-like objects in the night sky.

So I think there are three possibilities: A) an agency of our government is behind the drones but won't cop to that for presumably classified reasons; B) our government has theories about the drones but they're too alarming to be shared with the public; or C) our government genuinely has no foggy friggin' idea what is going on or where the drones are originating.

I think (A) is really far-fetched on various grounds, leaving (B) or (C) as the more likely scenario.

I also think it's very possible that the sightings will abruptly stop...and we'll never get an explanation.

My 11 year old son and I went walking last night at 10p looking for drones. We saw a shooting star, which was neat, but sadly no drones despite all the reports here on eastern PA. He even had an escape plan to get from the hilltop we were on to the treeline and back into our neighborhood in case the drone would “open fire on us.” The conclusion of his escape plan was to head to a neighbor’s house who is retired military with a huge stash of guns. 😀

I am not sure I guy what this guy is insinuating (something big) but I feel this is legit in that it is probably our military experimenting that is classified. The feds are saying everything is under control but is not telling us what is going on. It could be "space force" as this person suggests.

The whole ET thing here is a distraction to the reality of this whatever that is. But one thing I know ET aka Interdimensional beings aka Fallen Angels will not use or need to use drones for any reason.

Obli, to take Radar Guy seriously, I'd first have to believe he is what he says he is and knows what he says he knows...and I'm skeptical on both counts.

Here's my problem, one of them anyway, with the theory that some super-secret agency in our government is behind the phenomenon: to me, the idea that they'd be testing or nefariously flying drones all over the American countryside...alarming the public, prompting an uproar among various state and federal officials, bringing U.S. Senators into the streets at night, hovering over the houses of former Governors...doesn't pass the Giggle Test.

Therefore I lean more to my theory (C) with an element of (B) sprinkled in.

Of course I neglected to mention the possibility of theory (D): nothing at all untoward is happening and the phenomenon is the product of collective hysteria. Given all the facts and evidence, I find that as unlikely as (A).

All this said, I'm the first to also say I have no idea myself what's going on. As I commented in my last post, this could all cease as quickly as it began...and in three days time it would all become a vague, fading-from-memory curiosity.

Growing chorus of government officials demands answers on drones. First link.

Sightings spread to Massaschusetts. Second link.

An ABC news crew in New Jersey went out yesterday evening to report on the new popular hobby of drone-watching in the state. People used to drive around viewing Christmas lights at this time of year but recently they've shifted to gazing ga-ga at drones. Anyway, the television crew and its reporter got more than they bargained for right there live on camera:

That's obviously an attempt by aliens to open a wormhole!!!

Who knows what the cause is here. Given the number of drones and area involved I thought they were US drones. I assumed they were testing them for something that required seeing any issues operating in a highly populated region with multiple airports/ aircraft in the area etc. I hadn’t thought of them having sensors searching for something. I assume that’s a possibility as well. I saw a report where some were now on the west coast too.

So the FAA goes from pretending they don't know what the drones are to, wait for it... They authorized them!

Seriously, how hard was that?
Not hard it's just the difference between Commies and Patriots running the show.

Things are so different when we're told the truth!
You were told the truth. Back in December.

Why aren’t you guys up in arms, crying about the mystery of this alleged “FAA research”? If it were months ago, you’d say that explanation was bunk, and still didn’t explain things clearly. Now it’s the illuminating truth … even though you were already told the truth.

You’re sad. And sick.
