anybody listening to the UFO hearings today?

To me, this is all like Bigfoot
Could UFOs (or Bigfoot) exist? Sure--it's possible
But if they do exist it couldn't truly be covered up for this long this well so reason dictates they don't exist.

I've never been a believer as I just can't imagine the technology it would take to overcome physical challenges. But some of the best minds to ever live, Einstein included, thought it was not only possible but probable at some point in the future.

So what is their explanation of that video? There’s a flash and the plane is suddenly gone. Has to be some CGI generated fake.

I witnessed something similar while I was fishing alone maybe 25 years ago.

What I observed was an object move across the sky at a high rate of speed. It came to an abrupt stop and then increased substantially in brightness. Then, objects very similar to what was surrounding that plane in the video before those objects apparently made that plane 'disappear'.

They were chasing each other in a war games type manor before they eventually moved behind a tree line that obstructed my view. Total elapsed time: maybe 3 minutes.

The hair on the back of my neck was standing and a shiver went down my spine as I observed what I could not - and still cannot explain.

I've got a very good friend who flies 777s for United. He said he saw some over Greenland. He was on the horn to other pilots in the area who saw them also. He decided to not report it for the preservation of his career. The others didn't report it either.

My goodness have you skeptics even looked at all of the data? Do you think the 2018 video leak to the New York Times was fabricated? If so, what would that achieve? Do you think all of those navy personnel on those documentaries not only lied, but faked their emotions on camera?

Have you viewed video of the people who were around during the Roswell incident? There are many other incidents, photos, video, etc., not only in this country but others. There is absolutely no other explanation for all of what has occurred over the last century. It's either ET or some higher species living within our oceans.

For those that can't comprehend the technology it would take, imagine being some low level mammal on our planet -- perhaps humans just a million years ago -- and then trying to comprehend nuclear physics. To believe that our evolution is at the top of the realm of knowledge within our galaxy represents a rather close-minded point of view.

I also have a very trustworthy friend who witnessed a saucer. It had some kind of orange glow forcefield around it and just hovered perhaps a hundred yards from his vantage point. I'm pretty sure the event occurred during the day, so it wasn't some kind of night sky illusion several miles away in the sky.

Most people are tied to the bias of whatever they were taught during their childhood, and then maybe college. Flying saucers are never a part of it. As adults we then become skeptical of nearly everything that wasn't a part of our education. No other place is this type of bias more evident than among some of our brightest -- medical doctors. If something ails you that wasn't taught in medical school then you're not sick.

Get with the program, Obli. It's not "UFO" anymore. It's Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). No seriously. That's now the official government-speak term.

I used to be skeptical because the notion of beings capable of traveling the unimaginably vast expanses of star systems and galaxies contradicts everything we know (or thought we knew) about physics and science. In a word: impossible.

But they say that where there's smoke there's fire, and the fact is there's an awful lot of smoke surrounding the large number of reports by credible observers of sightings or experiences with these phenomena.

Also, it turns out that our government has been investigating the issue for a long time, which it would not have done if the whole thing were obviously, provably fraudulent.

In fact, the document from the government's investigation, code-named Immaculate Constellation, is pretty hair-raising. Leaked by a whistleblower and released by a Congresswoman on the committee, here's a thumbnail summary of the contents:

>>The document claims the U.S. government has collected extensive intelligence on UAPs and potentially non-human intelligences, yet has kept this knowledge highly classified. It describes secret programs, such as IMMACULATE CONSTELLATION, dedicated to tracking and analyzing UAPs, some of which exhibit capabilities beyond known human technology. Additionally, it suggests that multiple governments are aware of UAPs and consider them security threats. The author urges transparency and public awareness, framing this information as a pivotal issue for humanity.<<

I think one of the stumbling blocks we've encountered attempting to comprehend any of this is the limited boundary of human intellect and experience. We live in a three-dimensional world. We think in three-dimensional terms. But what if Reality extends beyond three dimensions?

One theory I've heard expressed seems almost quasi-religious in character...that these phenomena are the manifestation of discarnate higher intelligences from other dimensions of reality...and that they do not necessarily mean us well.

Personally, I have no foggy idea what in the blue blazes is going on. I don't subscribe to any particular theory. However, I've seen too much credible testimony, now to include this Congressional hearing and report, to reflexively reject any theory as kooky or impossible.

At the end of the day, we come back to the age-old wisdom of Shakespeare's immortal line from Hamlet: There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

Secrets can and are kept. Have you ever worked in a government top secret facility? People do indeed keep and maintain secrets. Our national security depends on it.

As a society, we don't even understand our own planet. How then can we definitively (or even guess) how and what exists in the universe?

Smartest thing former SecDef Rumsfeld said was: "there are known knowns, known unknowns, and unknown unknowns".

Hell, we can't even objectively determine the best college football team in any given year.

Of course there are UFOs. All that means is that we couldn't identify what it was. It doesn't mean aliens.

Except that aliens, or beings far more advanced, represent the only plausible explanation, especially some of the landings. One of my favorites involves Ariel school children in Zimbabwe, and another that involved both teachers and students in Australia. It would have been impossible to fake those cases. Too many independent witnesses from different angles.

The universe has a speed limit. They can't get here from there.

It has a speed limit on the road that humanity happens to currently be traveling. You don't know if there is a shortcut road. You can't see that road from your vantage point on your current road, so you think it doesn't exist. You know only the speed limit on the signs that you can see.

You think Einstein's speed limit applies on all roads.

I would say that the evidence strongly suggests that there are other roads. For that not to hold these craft -- some of them very large -- must be fabricated in a hidden place on our planet.

There are what I would call star trek level "transporter" like cases that have been witnessed, i.e., craft that seem to vaporize. We understand three dimensional space and time. That is the capacity of a brain like yours and mine. It's all we can see traveling on our current road.

I would add to this that there seems to be stuff going on in Antarctica and at the North Pole that raise a lot of questions in this area.

What you are describing are worm holes.

Wait, you’re saying the North Pole is involved???

OMG- Santa is a cover up?!?!?! 😧.

Fake. Fake as hell.

One thing to note: this was part of a hearing to Congress yesterday. These people were under oath and the videos shown, supposedly, legit. FWIW
Ooooo, the nutjobs were under oath ... that convinces me. There are nutjobs and crackpots in gubmint that want to believe just like all the UFO/UAP in the public. It's crazies feeding crazies with crazy ideas. Show us the bleeping dead aliens already or kindly STFU.
