Penn State to open wrestling season on Jan. 16
STATE COLLEGE – Penn State’s wrestling program will open its 2021 season on Jan. 16 at Rutgers. The start of the season is nearly two months after the Nittany Lions

I would like to say its only two weeks, but geeez. Two weeks, right now seems like a really freaking long time.
So PSU, Iowa and tOSU all get three home days from nine matches. Doesn’t seem like a thoughtful approach by the B1G after a year off and with a need to regenerate interest in the sport.
I would be a bit more worked up over this if fans were allowed. Without fans it means a bit less, IMHO.
Actually gotta disagree. There have been several teams who have set attendance records when PSU comes to visit. This is EXACTLY what our sport needs, althought WE may hate it lol.
Yeah with fans it would have been a bigger deal although Iowa coming to Rec Hall would have been a huge advantage for us. It will look the same to me watching it on the B10 streaming service regardless of the venue. I like the schedule though, lots of intrigue if health and regulations hold.
