Back handed compliment or what? Suriano kept his distance, Schram could not get past those jabs Suriano was giving.
How about Schram never once took a step forward, could have easily been DQed for stalling, and the Suriano kid did a great job not nose diving at a constantly fleeing target.

Even if there's an ounce of sour grapes from their coaches, which might be a stretch...I'd say to young Mr. Suriano "keep doing what you're doing."

Borrelli obviously meant keeping the distance constant by taking a step fwd every time Schram took one back.
