They will no doubt go to the Rose as they should as champion. OSU remains in the CFP mix but drops down ranking wise. Where does PSU go and who is our projected opponent? Is there any chance we play Bama? I’m seeing a Cotton Bowl game against Memphis but I’d rather we play a different opponent in a non NY6 game.

That's important for recruiting and for program image. IMHO who we play is not as important as the bowl we play in.

OSU needed a 48-7 type of game to keep the 1 spot with the way LSU dominated. Instead — win or lose — they get Clemson.
