Now that the dust has settled on the '19 class, I was wondering what the average class rank each team in the Big 10 holds going into the '20 season. I was actually surprised by a few things.
First, Purdue had the 26th ranked class this year, that's the best they've done in a long while. Ohio State had its lowest rated class in the last 5 years. Overall, the B1G teams probably had the best average ranking its had in years, with Illinois having the lowest rated class. On the other hand, we only had one team in the T10, and that was Michigan, at 10. Finally, Nebraska is slowly putting together a solid team, cracking the Top 4 in the conference. These rankings are based upon Rivals, mileage may vary using other services or composite rankings.
Of course, these rankings do not consider or include transfers, players who have left for the NFL, retirements, etc.. What it does show is where the teams generally rank compared to each other.
