"We" didn't play, so you don't have to feel bad. We are 4 games into the season, undefeated, and you're here making me depressed. Thanks a lot.We beat a bad Purdue team and a worse Auburn team.

I wonder if he has seen the Kentucky halftime score against N. Illinois? I guess Levis and UK are terrible too. Also, Maryland was unranked and according to this idiot, a team that should be curb-stomped if you're truly a title team.... - guess what, scUM struggled mightily with them. This guy is so tiresome with his bs always attempting to demean PSU when you can point out the same thing about any of the top teams (UGa against Kent State today.... Bama could have easily lost to Texas who lost again today to TX Tech - they're not a top 25 team.... Clemson against WF today... etc., etc. Etc.....).
Oklahoma State was up was 51-15 early in the third before Central Michigan put up garbage points.
I wonder if he has seen the Kentucky halftime score against N. Illinois? I guess Levis and UK are terrible too.
Correct--the game was over at 51-15. Did CMU ever get 51?More rationalizations from Mr. Know it all. OSU scored on their first possession of 2nd half to take that lead. CMU then scored then scored 4 TDs in the 2nd Half (OSU scored one more TD early in the 4th) making the final 58-44. The entire 2nd half was not "garbage time" especially when a team halves your lead in the 3rd QTR.... and continued to close the gap in the 4th QTR such that the final ended up 58-44! But according to you OSU wasn't trying and paid no attention after CMU put up TD after TD. That's not how it works dope.
You think Kentucky fans were happy tied at 14-14 or trying to claim NIU is a good team?I wonder if he has seen the Kentucky halftime score against N. Illinois? I guess Levis and UK are terrible too.
I don't think the PSU coaches and players were satisfied with their total effort today. What is said in the locker room tiday and film session tomorrow will be different than what is said publically. We as fans are not privy to the internal discussions. This team has alot of potential with some outstanding young talent that is coming along. I am not predicting a B1G East title but I see much improvement from last season and many areas where the trajectory is up, not down.Do you think anyone that has an interest in Georgia (Smart, any coach, any player, any fan) walked away from them game happy with how they played as a team?
Georgia strives to win titles. They're going to scrutinize that game--including their fans. They'll try to get better and won't talk about how well they played.

I am sure the fan scrutiny will make all the difference.Do you think anyone that has an interest in Georgia (Smart, any coach, any player, any fan) walked away from them game happy with how they played as a team?

Right? We agree on all of that.I don't think the PSU coaches and players were satisfied with their total effort today. Michigan (again, you calling them scUM is childish especially for someone elderly) may be overrated and they performed today was not impressive. Yet again, that's what happens when you don't play anyone with a pulse. People overrate you--just like when people start believing Purdue and Auburn are "good" wins.Maryland is a garbage team and scUM struggled mightily with them - scUM sucks and is wildly over-rated.

Michigan is clearly the better team when they play PSU. So everyone including you should expect them to win. That way you don’t have to be upset if PSU loses. You can have a break from being upset when PSU wins. What a troll.Michigan (again, you calling them scUM is childish especially for someone elderly) may be overrated and they performed today was not impressive. How is it trolling to expect us to beat Purdue, Auburn, Ohio and Central Michigan?Michigan is clearly the better team when they play PSU. So everyone including you should expect them to win. Speaking of over-rated....Michigan State preseason top 15?Maryland is a garbage team and scUM struggled mightily with them - scUM sucks and is wildly over-rated.

I made money on the PSU game today. That outcome was very predictable. Whine at home about being 4 and 0 but not up to your standards. How is it trolling to expect us to beat Purdue, Auburn, Ohio and Central Michigan?
And I won't be upset if Michigan beats us. I'm hoping we can pull off the upset but I'm realistic about our chances.
Who's complaining about being 4-0?I made money on the PSU game today. That outcome was very predictable. Whine at home about being 4 and 0 but not up to your standards.
You already know how good we are. We have less talent than Michigan and OSU. We have Franklin as a coach. The season is over. Watch your Steelers.Who's complaining about being 4-0?
I literally didn't complain at all today. I stated the fact that we were sleepwalking through the game early. Wasn't shocked by that. Like you, I've been watching Franklin for year. Same reason I said all last week we would kill Auburn like we did.
I don't understand why people think there's any "whining" going on. I'm content with where we are. We'll beat Northwestern next week then we'll see how good we are.
Why does reality bother you?You already know how good we are. We have less talent than Michigan and OSU. We have Franklin as a coach. The season is over. Watch your Steelers.
Couldn’t name 3 players for the Steelers, and I don’t whine incessantly about PSUs performance. I have my own team to worry about. So whatever reality you are talking about, I am sure I have never experienced it. Take care. Why does reality bother you?
The Steelers will be lucky to win 5 games this year especially since Watt is out. Or does that reality also bother you?
The fact you still think I'm whining about the game today or any game is illogical. We didn't play well against Purdue and sleepwalked through part of the first half today. That's not whining that's reality as you likely know.Couldn’t name 3 players for the Steelers, and I don’t whine incessantly about PSUs performance. I have my own team to worry about. So whatever reality you are talking about, I am sure I have never experienced it. Take care.
scUM does not suck and Maryland is not a garbage team. We can beat scUM but need to bring it. Not sure what you are responding to, most likely some inane comment, I have him/her on ignore.scUM sucks, they struggled against an ultra garbage team - barely beat them.
Michigan is good and Corum is going to be a problem...BUT...watch what I said about McCarthy. If it's McCarthy, not McNamara, Penn State has a legit 50-50 shot to win.scUM does not suck and Maryland is not a garbage team. We can beat scUM but need to bring it. Yeah, I'm hoping we can force McCarthy into some mistakes. That could be the difference in the game if he has a turnover or two. Worried about scUM having success just pounding it with Corum. On offense we have to be able to run a little. Having both Singleton and Allen is a big advantage. Utilizing the tight ends is an advantage we need to exploit. Strange has emerged as a legitimate offensive weapon.Michigan is good and Corum is going to be a problem...BUT...watch what I said about McCarthy. I watched most of that Michigan game and McCarthy was rattled all day. They won strictly with the running game.Yeah, I'm hoping we can force McCarthy into some mistakes. 8-4 would be a bit of a let down at this point, but yeah, it looks like an 8-4 team UNLESS they can solve the field goal situation and the interior D line problems.8-4 team, losses to Mich, TOSU, Minni and Maryland.
Young team should be better next year.
I'm not convinced we lose to Maryland however because we have them at home. But, I can see us losing at Indiana after three straight poundings. We have developed into the perennial Big Ten team that starts off like they are the real deal then fades as competition gets tougher... Michigan State and Minnesota have played that role many seasons. Minnesota is for real this time however.8-4 team, losses to Mich, TOSU, Minni and Maryland.
Young team should be better next year.
I happen to think any win is a good win. When our losses begin piling up, I'll get on the "we are all bums" wagon. Until then, I'm going to try to enjoy football season. As for some on this board, I don't think they know how to enjoy any sports, or for that matter, life in general.Michigan (again, you calling them scUM is childish especially for someone elderly) may be overrated and they performed today was not impressive. I don’t think they realize that if you watch every game and pick any team apart like we do PSU, you will find holes. I’ve watched every Kentucky game this year and they have way more holes than we do, but I’m still pretty confident they will win 10 games. Every team has weaknesses including the teams they play and every game is different. I kept reading last year how we were going to get blown out by Michigan and OSU because of how we played against Nova and then Iowa. Guess what, we didn’t.I happen to think any win is a good win. I'm enjoying this season without pretending our wins are more impressive than they are...I happen to think any win is a good win. You're pretty much a downer.I'm enjoying this season without pretending our wins are more impressive than they are...
I don't understand why people seem to think expecting to beat bad teams then being content when we do is somehow not enjoying it. Watching the RBs develop alone is enjoyable.
Yes back to reality. The “we deserve better” critics will be out in full force. Waiting for the first clown to claim yesterday’s win was really a “loss” since the team didn’t win by a big enough margin or demonstrate enough “style” points to satisfy them. Predictable as the sun rising in the East.We beat a bad Purdue team and a worse Auburn team.
How is it a downer? lolYou're pretty much a downer.
The ironic thing is you love to criticize the team or other posters, but are very sensitive to criticism yourself. My suggestion which is just my .02 -- get over yourself.
A win is a win is a win. I don't think anyone after that game felt worse or better about our chances this year.Yes back to reality. The “we deserve better” critics will be out in full force. Ya, but look at the rest of the Big. Sparty is not very good. Michigan is flawed. Minnesota is playing well but not more talented than PSU. If PSU loses more than 2 games this year, Franklin will have underachieved again. We beat a bad Purdue team and a worse Auburn team.
Completely agree. On the way to the game yesterday, I was arguing with my friend, who was convinced PSU would win by 60 and Singleton would have 300 yards rushing. I said that this was a classic letdown game after the emotional win in SEC land last week, and that CMU would likely sell out to stop the run.Phoned it in. Two of the first three games away and emotionally draining. A workmanlike effort devoid of heart. Not surprising, really.
