Am from the Rutgers Boards. Ban showed up on our Current Events Board in December 2019 and at times unleashes a blizzard of flames--like 50 in four hours. Picks fights with people, and some of his "best" work has already been deleted by our mods under the direction of the site owner. Note that he posted on this board until Jan 2019, and in one thread, several posters eviscerated him for his tendency to dare people to compare resumes with his Anybody know more about him? Claims to be from Minnesota and is a college teacher in Iowa. Just want to get rid of him, and think he is part real, part fake profile.

Been a while since he's posted here, but I seem to remember that he wasn't too bad at first. But then became a total jackwagon and unbearable. I'm guessing he was banned from here?
This, pretty much. The dude was alright for awhile but soon became utterly unbearable. As noted, was capable of unleashing a torrent of posts that would completely monopolize and/or hijack a thread. Needed to just step away from the keypad and go to the gym or take a walk or whatever, but seemed to enjoy his own posts way too much. Don't know his bonafides (or particularly care to), but one of those dudes that simply had to be removed for the overall welfare of the board.
He was a perennial top 10 poster that got sidetracked on his way to the top 5.
Send him to the Pitt board.

He's an NIU or UNI fan (whichever one is in Iowa) and had been tossed from other boards, before showing up here. When he got tossed here, you guys lucked out as the next one up.
So far on your board, he has only done two things. First, he's picked fights with me, because he still reads this board and knows I spend time over there. (Yes, I still tweak him from here, since I know he's reading. Right, Ban?) And, second, he feels the need to interject NIU/UNI stuff on your board, because his team doesn't have a board. I guess he thinks you guys are interested.
Just wait until he gets into it with someone on your board. At some point, he'll challenge them to compare resumes/careers and will never, ever allow another person to have the last word, because he has "the most dangerous words on the internet." Or, some **** like that.
Edit: Should have read your message more closely. I thought you post referred to activity on your wrestling board. Sounds like he acts the same way on your Current Events board as he did here.

He did do that ya wanna compare resumes, Boy? challenge. Heck, I am a geezer, retired NSA, and only have an MA compared to his supposed cluster of academic achievements and 24 (shouldn't it be 25 by now?) years of college teaching so I took his challenge and he would not show me his as I had showed him mine. He tried pretty hard to say something, anything, that might bother me when I challenged him. First, he called me Mark David Chapman (Lennon's killer) twice in one post, for all the relevance in that. Called me a stalker, a weirdo and various similar stuff, and has warned me not to make him angry (like Dr David Banner, the Hulk. "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry) The Wrath of Ban? Catchy movie title. Then he says he never made that challenge on the RU Board, as if that meant anything, but he did. Think he is part real, part fake and don't give a rodent's rear end what is fake and what is real. Just want him gone, and will use some of these posts to show the little sh*t (or big sh*t) that his wrestling "friends" still remember him fondly. Dang...... It only took me 2 posts to get banned from the Rutgers board. Anyway, every comment above is accurate. His two Nobels and elite résumé gave him a sense of entitlement where if anyone disagreed with him, the flamethrower came out.
I think the only board he won't hit up is probably HR. If I remember right, he despises Iowa.

He is a UNI fan. Has been previously banned from TheMat, HR and BWI forums, with Rutgers apparently next, lol.

Was gone permanently in Dec of 2018, was from Iowa I believe. Was trying to lurk here in Jan of 2019.
I liked him when he wasn’t circling the drain, but once he got there, it was rather unpleasant. I like our posters that aren’t necessarily psu fans, usually.
That is an anniversary I enjoy as much as my wedding anniversary! Great Mod move, one of the few I selected to ignore!
