Bassett wrestling facility

Now that was impressive! A little more blue and white would bring it up a notch. I hope they don't take to many 200 degree saunas though.

A testament to hard work. What usually separates the best in the world at anything, is a best in world work ethic that takes the gift of elite talent to the next levels.

As someone who recently went through the whole "try to convert a space to a wrestling area" thing... That ain't cheap, either.
The good stuff rarely is Duster!

First of all, how cool is that. Talk about all in...Hope the dreams come true. Second, I wonder if the boys have time to be regular kids?

Guessing it wouldn’t go over well if they said I think I’m going to try basketball this year?
My state champion son (not PA), told me at the end of his 7th grade year, He wanted to play basketball. After biting my lip and taking a minute to gather my thoughts, my response was (paraphrasing) : “If you are sure about this, remember to do your best, you just might surprise yourself”. He has since returned to the mat, but really enjoyed that basketball year with his friends... I was glad he had the guts to tell me.

We have about a 1000 sqft wrestling room in the basement with sauna, cold tub, aerodyne's, pull/dip bars and weights. Mama wouldn't let me bring the tractor inside the house. My boy is 12 but my friends and I use the area to roll Ju Jitsu as well. It is overboard but it came in handy during Covid. We were able to get a work out in everyday.

Good for the Bassetts! I give my kids the best that I can. If I had the means....my kids would have the absolute best as well. I am certain I am not alone in my thinking. Make some memories boys!

Way back in my commercial photographer days I regularly shot the FAO Schwarz catalog, which naturally involved casting children. Many kids were there because their parents wanted it, not them. The resentment was still under the surface, but it was easy to imagine the therapy a few decades out. Child modeling isn't easy, there's a lot of waiting around while the adults get it right. Pretending to have fun on camera isn't the same thing as actually having fun, and most kids aren't ready.

At the opposite end of the spectrum there's a far smaller group of kids--natural ringers, for whom modeling is a necessary step to being on stage or screen, and their parents barely have a choice in the matter, they're just along for the ride. Bassett reminds me of a few kids we shot for the FAO catalog. Disarmingly self-assured and practically precocious short of being disrespectful. That hardly means it still can't go off the rails, but his drive appears to be his own, and that's a good thing.

You can experience a week in the life of the Bassett’s for only $500! (Lodging included so probably not a bad deal TBH)

Are the walls padded, I am looking for a bigger basement.
Clothing optional?
