This is how you reload. In the old days, this CB spot would have been filled by a 2 star teammate of some 4 star prospect from Virginia or New Jersey who would ultimately end up at Florida or Notre Dame. That doesn't happen anymore.

Yeah, I think it's rather telling. They aren't even trying, in most cases, if the kid isn't from the WPIAL. They used to nab some kids from the Philly area when Wanny was around, and even before that, but they appear to have given up on them for some reason. Narduzzi has to know that if he can't recruit in-state, then his job is 1000 times harder. Chryst didn't have to match up against JF and crew, and had it much easier.
Well they are the returning National Champions........again.
The pitters currently have one recruit -- they beat out Rhode Island and Brown to get him. We have 12 and are ranked in the top 2 nationally. The pitt football program is effectively dead. No attendance. No recruits. A humorless, arrogant, angry a$$hole for a coach. No campus. No fan base. The program is dead.

When was the last time Penn State was able to go into and pull a great prospect out of Texas? Mighty impressive stuff Coach Franklin is doing!
Why in the world are some posters talking about Pitt? This thread has absolutely nothing to do with Pitt. You're just inviting Pitt lurkers to infest this thread.
The other day, someone started a thread on the Lair proudly proclaiming a SPitt victory over PSU in lacrosse. Someone had to politely interject that Pitt only plays club....the thread vanished.
Last one I can remember is D'Anton Lynn. I forget if he had any PA/PSU connections before committing!? I see he is now a defensive assistant for the Chargers.

IIRC .... Lynn's dad Anthony was close with Brian Norwood (I think) , and that led him to PSU.
Between club Parcheesi and Lacrosse they should really move up from their #78 spot (tied with Rutgers) in the Learfield Directors' Cup standings. PSU is currently #4 behind Standford, Wisconsin and scUM which should change after they add MHockey.
If you were a PSU alum, which you're not, you wouldn't be ignorant to a fellow alumnus.

IDK, look up the 2000 roster. We had recruited players from Cali, Washington, TN, Illinois, NC, Michigan, Mass, Ohio, WV plus the usual assortment from PA, MD and NJ.
