Was he ever "not with the team"Saw a photo of practice and noticed Noah in the huddle. Anyone hear anything.
Was he ever "not with the team"
IDK
I do know if he was even dressed for some earlier games. I surely wouldn't be surprised if he has been with the team and practicing all year (if even on "scout" team)...... Can't imagine any reason why he wouldn't have been
You funny.Calling Guns. What's the scoop here?
Guns is not one to shy away from an OL opinion. You funny.
You funny.
No. My understanding is that he is/was under suspension and still on the team. At least that was the story line the week before the IU game.actually was there any official announcement that Beh was not on the team? I thought there was, but it might just have been Phil's talk show. I know Phil mentioned in a recent show that Beh was probably one of the players not returning. anyhow if it was newsworthy to announce he was no longer with the team, it would seem there might have been something that he was back on the team. the thing that makes me feel he is not back on the team is if he was healthy we would have seen him in all this mess of the OL. he looked to be a starter last spring, so given our injuries he would have seen the field.
if he were academically ineligible, I think he wouldn't be able to even practice - correct? not sure of the ncaa rules around players becoming ineligible and then eligible in the same term.
Guns is not one to shy away from an OL opinion.
If he has a shirt (any kind, any color, any style), let's burn it.
He can practice but not play, correct? He's been practicing all along. No change to his status.
He can practice but not play, correct?
Unfortunately his opinions are usually wrong.
Clearly, there is - and has been - an issue between Beh and CJF and the staffis he academically ineligible? I did not think you could practice under ncaa rules if you have academic standard problem. if he did something severely wrong it would seem PSU administration would DQ him from participating on any level including practice.
Bullshit.. tOSU and UMich have been recruiting too well for us to sniff this again any time soon.
I think your second assumption is wrong I think there is an NCAA problem and if it's not an NCAA problem then it is a PSU as an institution problemClearly, there is - and has been - an issue between Beh and CJF and the staff
We know from what we can all see:
His absence isn't due to injury
His absence isn't due to an NCAA eligibility issue
His absence isn't due to lack of ability
That only leaves so many options - - - - - NONE of which CJF (or any head coach at any program) is about to "publically discuss"......nor should they
Even though 21 Guns may feel the "need to know".
I don't think franklin has any control over his situation he may be in a doghouse but CJF does not hold the keysIt appears that the "Franklin Doghouse" is larger and every bit as tough as the "Paterno Doghouse". I have to compliment Franklin on sending the kid a message he won't soon forget. He knows he's on a short leash.
So like a Jule Del Giorno "flexing her weight" kinda problem?I don't think franklin has any control over his situation he may be in a doghouse but CJF does not hold the keys
Content free because it's all speculation. We don't know. The Judge indicated the other day the staff didn't think he could play. I doubt that. He played as well as anybody in the springYikes, a content-free thread so far.
How did Beh go from starting in the BW game to being 'persona non playing' all season?Clearly, there is - and has been - an issue between Beh and CJF and the staff

As I said, read the NCAA rule bookHow did Beh go from starting in the BW game to being 'persona non playing' all season?
Why do I have to read it if you read it?As I said, read the NCAA rule book
Calling Guns. What's the scoop here?
You don't know ad hominem from apologist, Scoopy. You are making an ad hominem attack. End of scoop.
Who gave you that info, Will Fries?1. He is practicing with the team.
2. He is eligible to play.
3. He might very well play vs Michigan State.
There, handle that.
Because your interpretation may be different than mineWhy do I have to read it if you read it?
That means nothing. Franklin called Beh's transgression a "violation of team rules" which could include an NCAA infraction, but not necessarily so. Further, if Beh violated any NCAA rule, Im certain that PSU would have reported same by now.As I said, read the NCAA rule book
I trust you with this and seasonings (I backed you on that -- you owe me). Sunroofs, not so much.Because your interpretation may be different than mine
Hey to be clear I don't know for sure. As I think we all said earlier, it's all speculation so all you can do is go down the check list. I went down mine. You go down yours. But what we know is the kid can play, he is academically eligible, it is s position of need, so what rule could he violate that would cost him a year?? Late for practice? Please ! But I did find one reading the rule book that gets you a yearThat means nothing. Franklin called Beh's transgression a "violation of team rules" which could include an NCAA infraction, but not necessarily so. Further, if Beh violated any NCAA rule, Im certain that PSU would have reported same by now.
I think you're making stuff up.
Fudge the rule book. Most of the teams ignore it.Why do I have to read it if you read it?
