Best throwback Big Ten logo?

Penn State’s newer logo is the throwback. 
There are logos that predate the “chipmunk”.
There are logos that predate the “chipmunk”.
That must be a Northwestern Wildcat that looks like a coyote on crack wearing a football helmet. I would pay B1G money for a low quality, expensive Jersey with that logo on it!
I think this one is more emblematic of the team it represents than any I've seen:

The "new millennium" Nittany Lion was cursed... Is he wearing eye shadow? .... looks like a total diva...
... when they released this fella the program went into the toilet, and was certainly well on it's way during development. I've always correlated the logo designs below with the downfall of Penn State Football's "elite" status.
In terms of success on the field nothing even remotely compares to the program's plummet at the turn of the century.
I blame these horrid logos:
and the clubs seats blocking Princess Nita-Nee's football juju.
In 2005, at the first ever football eve, I knew we were in for a special season... as soon as I saw the clean cut end zones. The Chipmunk above the tunnel.... The PSU Chipmunk is where it's at... sures a cats a pussy.
